Jonathan Hurst was sworn into the Illinois Bar in 1988, and he has practiced law continuously since that time. Jon is a 1984 Graduate of Vanderbilt University, and he received his law degree in 1988 from SIU Carbondale. Jon spent 14 years as an Illinois prosecutor, gaining extensive experience in the Criminal and Traffic law arena, as well as experience in the Municipal Governmental law areas. In private practice since 2004, Jon handles all areas of general law, including family, criminal, traffic, probate and contractual law. For the past 6 years, Jon has also represented the City of Roodhouse, Illinois as their Municipal Attorney. Jon is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and a member of the Morgan County Bar Association. Jon represents clients in counties throughout Central Illinois.
